From out my window I do see A nameless boy trading eyes with me His eyes no colour His face with fear His future intentions were not so clear
Out my apartment and into the black I stood right by with his body standing back His face, no expression His morals not aligned I asked him why, and he simply replied
"I intend to make ammends" He so aptly states Walks off with a 'tude And a cut on his face
I walk alongside with a similar stride With no mind at my reach I forget to speak I forget to ask And i forget to seek
All the neighbors then the town All do follow with no sound I look around and all I see were all the townsmen watching me
The only sentence repeatedly spoken Was that of which could not be broken
"I intend to make ammends" Repeatedly stating Remembering my religion My fate soon fading
I chanted along and began believing The words expressed my mind was eating My soul was broken My mind was shattered As I went along my emotion grew sadder
We arrive at the site my heart was beating My mind with questions my nose was bleeding The blood was dripping My thoughts were flipping And all of a sudden I ran retreating
I stopped, I stood, I stand there bleeding With my energy depleting Engraved on the pavement I read these words And with each passing line I feel no more
"I intend to make ammends I am sorry for my sins
Please take this as a gift of parting My body lay here, my soul departing"
My senses were lost there's no coming back I try to see but I'm as blind as black

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
